Course Description:

The Asset Analysis track is comprised of skill-based courses that, when taken in sequence, progressively build your knowledge of financing and valuation of real estate assets. You'll work hands-on to explore various models of financial analysis in three applications-based courses designed to help you capitalize on your real estate assets. Students will find the tools they learn here indispensable to the properties and the portfolios they manage.

•Financing and Loan Analysis for Investment Real Estate (ASM603) •Performance and Valuation of Investment Real Estate (ASM604)
•Asset Analysis of Investment Real Estate (ASM605)

What you need to bring or have ready:

Financial Calculator or App Required: The HP10bII or HP10bII+ financial calculator or similar financial calculator app is required. Course materials illustrate keystrokes for the HP10bII+ calculator. Students are encouraged to download the interactive HP10bII Financial Calculator Tutorial and the HP10bII Financial Calculator Quick Reference Guide and review it prior to taking this course.

Laptop Computer Strongly Recommended: In addition to the financial calculator, course materials extensively use the IREM Financial Analysis Spreadsheet to facilitate hands-on learning in the classroom. With your registration confirmation, you will receive a link to the IREM Financial Analysis Spreadsheet. It is strongly recommended that you download the spreadsheet to your laptop prior to attending the class.
